Meet Dr. Caroline Lewis,
Hi! I am Dr. Caroline Lewis, a licensed Naturopathic and Functional Medicine Doctor based in Toronto, Canada. My personal journey of Gut-Healing combined with my love for Dermatology and background in Neuroscience inspired my passion to help patients optimize their Gut-Brain-Skin connection. Through this, I have learned how our gut health is deeply connected to our skin, hormones, and mental well-being.
Within my clinical practice, I take the time to listen to and understand each of my patients’ needs, while providing a safe space for healing. I believe that nourishing the digestive system, balancing the microbiome (of your gut and skin!), harmonizing hormones, and supporting the mind are essential steps in boosting your vitality and achieving a radiant glow.
My own experience with IBD and digestion helps me to truly empathize with what my patients are going through, and relate to them on a deeper level. I want to help women connect-the-dots to discover the root cause of their mind-body imbalances, and learn how to modify their lifestyle so they can live happily and healthily, from a place of inner peace. For each patient, I customize a unique treatment plan combining synergistic naturopathic modalities and work with you to ensure it’s something you can realistically implement in your daily life.
My treatment approach emphasizes nutrient and microbiome support, simple lifestyle modifications, and strategies for mental-emotional health. I use clinical nutrition and supplementation, herbal medicine, IV and injection therapy, and acupuncture as core tools to encourage the body’s own healing processes.
